Connect Suicide Postvention Training increases the capacity of community organizations and service providers to respond effectively to suicide deaths and prevent additional suicides and promote healing for survivors of suicide loss.  The shock and grief can ripple through the community and affect family, friends, co-workers, schools and faith communities.  Connect Suicide Postvention Training helps service providers respond in a coordinated and comprehensive way in the aftermath of a suicide or any sudden death.

Training is from  8:00am to 5:00pm at Pacific Star Hotel.

Survivors of Suicide Support Group.  A safe place for friends and families who have lost a loved one to suicide and  can share and be supported by one another.  SOS Support Groups are held every 2nd Thursday for the month from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  For more information call Michelle Sasamoto at 477-2304.
